The YT30 Pneumatic Leg Rock Drill is a heavy-duty rock drilling machine featuring high efficiency and low energy consumption. It is particularly suitable for construction projects such as railways, highways, and hydropower and serves as an upgraded solution for rock drilling operations in tunnel excavation for the metallurgy and coal mining industries.

The YT30 model is designed for drilling horizontal and inclined holes in medium-hard to hard rock (f=8~18). It is typically used for drilling blast holes with a diameter of 34–45 mm and an optimal economic drilling depth of 5 meters. Depending on the tunnel cross-section and working conditions, it can be equipped with the FT160A pneumatic leg, SF160C long pneumatic leg, or SF160B short pneumatic leg. For metal mining applications, it can also be paired with the FT170 pneumatic leg. Additionally, it can be mounted on drilling rigs or frames for both dry and wet drilling operations.
